Michael was outstanding! I came in for an aftermarket tire and wheel installation and he delivered a genuine 5-star experience from start to finish. He communicated clearly, kept me updated on the progress, and handled everything with professionalism and care. I was moved by how thoughtful and attentive he was, it’s rare to see that level of dedication. The installation was perfect and I left beyond satisfied. Michael truly made the difference.

TL;DR: Dishonest upselling tactics and a 3% credit card fee. Avoid. The long version: My wife called ahead to schedule a rear brake service for our RAV4 Hybrid. She was told it would be around $400, with a firm estimate provided after drop-off. When she brought the car in, she didn’t catch that the service request was just a $210 fee to inspect the brakes — not to actually perform any work. Several hours later, we received four photos showing only the rotors (still behind the wheels), along with a bloated $3,700+ estimate. This included a $770 charge for rear brakes and a laundry list of questionable add-ons. Apparently, the person on the phone assumed the rotors could be resurfaced, but didn’t mention any range or clarify that it could be significantly more. To make it worse, we got a separate text saying the alignment was fine — but the official recommendation still included an alignment service. In the end, we paid over $200 for no actual service and left. Oh, and they now charge a 3% fee to use a credit card. Thanks, Toyota of Seattle and service advisor JT — for the wasted time and money.

I purchase my first Toyota last year. When I first arrived at my local Toyota of Seattle, I was informed about the great value of a pre-paid Toyota maintenance service plan, and purchased a 5 service package. A great deal! This is a fantastic value. All of the crew always do a fantastic job on my vehicle, and keep it running in tip top shape, and make me aware of upcoming items that may need attention. This helps me feel empowered and informed in the care of my 2005 Camry. All the staff are friendly, in particular a special shout out to Tim T in the service department. He is always so kind, welcoming, and does a great job of explaining to me the health and wellbeing of my vehicle. Tim is an absolute asset to the team at Toyota of Seattle service, and Tim, it’s always a please to see you! In fact, my husband ended up purchasing a brand new 2024 RAV-4 last year at TOS, because he knew how well cared for I felt in the service department. I was there during his buying process in December, and they did a great job on making us feel welcome, and they were incredibly upfront. All and all, TOS is a top notch, reputable and caring place. PS, you guys have a great snack cart, that was much appreciated while we waited for paperwork. Also, the coffee machine is great too! Thanks again, Toyota of Seattle. You are the embodiment of how other dealer and service departments should run.

Came in on Saturday for a flat tire replacement. The advisor said they didn’t have the tire and would have to order it (no big deal) and come back on Monday to get it installed. I came in on Monday and they said they had the wrong size tire and weren’t sure what happened and come back on Tuesday anytime to get it replaced. I came in on late Tuesday morning and they still didn’t have the correct tire. I waited several hours for it to arrive. The advisor also advised me to get an oil change with under 5k miles when my car requires oil changes every 7.5 k - 10k miles.

It was not a great experience. The salesperson will push for services that you might get elsewhere for cheaper (and in my case, my bro could do my oil change for free) but it is better if you don’t agree to it and think it over. Once they do that push and get you to sign and you change your mind, they will call the service team but they might not be able to change it cause they already opened it up (even though they quoted me hours when it has been less than 30 min since check in). It is an assembly line style of servicing. It is pushy here for their products and services which are way more expensive than other places. If I had more time, I could change my own light for 1/7 of the cost instead of using their factory product and labor. I found the experience not that great and too pushy. There are other places that have better care and services without the pushy sales and assembly line feel.
