Well...my last visit went well and I received excellent service from a very helpful shift manager. Several of my previous visits were not as pleasant. I am going to be a bit tough in my review of this store. I used to be a closing manager there. If I were to guess about the improvements that I observed. I would say that the store had finally settled in and it was not having the high turnover that it was experiencing. If you do not have a solid crew at that store. Meaning well trained parts specialists and customer service reps. Customers are going to be waiting for parts lookup and purchasing. You do not want to go to this store if you want to just run in and grab a quart of oil during their busy times. This store is one of the busiest if not the busiest in Washington. So getting parts looked up correctly may take a a little longer than expected, but the extra attention given at this store has a purpose. I know that the people that I taught understood that we wanted to get it right the first time. This poses some difficulties with customers that were not ready with the correct information for their vehicle. AutoZone doesn't sell brakes for cars according to the color of the vehicle. 🤭

I called Autozone to confirm when I last got a new battery. Patrick answered immediately, looked up my information. First, wow, this is great. My call is answered. Information obtained. I came to the store close to 7pm to get a new battery. Patrick greeted me, got the battery, and installed within ten minutes. During this time, as he is getting items ready to install the battery, he says hello to customers coming in, saying he’ll help as soon as he’s done helping me. The customer service was wonderful! I very much appreciate the help from Patrick tonight and how he’s clearly takes pride in his job, enjoys helping people, and has a wonderful positivity and cheerfulness. Thank you, Patrick!

Patrick is amazing! He single handedly ran the entire store while maintaining such a wonderful demeanor! I can tell he will really turn this store around; not only it's energy, but organization as well. He was beyond informative, kind, and patient. :)

I came to AutoZone on a busy Black Friday. A gentleman named Art Henderson, and another courteous employee, helped me get a new battery for my Porsche. Art greeted me by name as I came to the cash register (I had called earlier inquiring about stats on the battery, what kind to buy, price, cranking power, amps, etc.). He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. The other gentleman informed me about the return policy on my old battery, optional warranty details, and recommended a kit (small felt pads and lube to help with the install) which I bought. Great recommendation! It worked! Both employees were so courteous and helpful. So refreshing that there are good guys out there helping customers. This is now my new "go to" automotive store.
