Disappointed by High AC Recharge Cost at Meineke Auto Service My recent experience with Meineke Auto Service left me feeling incredibly dissatisfied due to the high cost I paid for an AC recharge process. After the fact, I discovered that I had been charged a staggering $304 for the service, while a comparable job could have been done for just $158 at Firestone. Needless to say, this realization left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. When I confronted the staff at Meineke about the vast price difference, their explanation only added to my disappointment. They claimed that shops like Firestone benefit from purchasing parts in bulk, allowing them to offer lower prices compared to Meineke. While I understand that there may be variations in pricing between service centers, the significant disparity in cost for a seemingly straightforward job was unreasonable and unfair. As a customer, I expect transparency and fair pricing when seeking automotive services. Unfortunately, Meineke Auto Service failed to meet these expectations, leaving me with a sour impression of their business practices. It's disheartening to discover that I overpaid for a service that could have been completed elsewhere for a significantly lower price. Moving forward, I will be more cautious and thoroughly research alternative options before committing to any automotive services. It is crucial to consider the reputation, pricing, and customer feedback of multiple service providers to ensure a fair and satisfactory experience. In conclusion, based on my personal experience of encountering high costs for an AC recharge process at Meineke Auto Service, I cannot recommend them to others. Their inability to provide competitive pricing, along with the explanation provided for the price difference, left me feeling disappointed and regretful. I encourage prospective customers to explore other options and carefully evaluate pricing before selecting an auto service provider.

The two people who helped me with my oil change were great. I made an appointment and they were ready to work on my car on time. They were thorough and communicative with me about the inspection findings. They sent me a full report with pictures. I will definitely go back!

My starter had finally gave out. The shop was nearby so I had my car towed there. Not only they squeeze me in last minute, they also got it done by the end of the day (within 5hrs). I called my Regular Mechanics who gave me a quote, there’s was a little higher but they honored it and matched it. I really appreciated their services and they did a wonderful job. Very grateful and satisfied by their services!

Great guys to deal with, very very helpful and easy going. I came to them on short notice when I found my exhaust had been cut by thieves. About all the way through on one side of the cat and half way through the other side. Front office gentleman was very professional in understanding the situation and had my car in the bay and up in the air to take a look in a matter of minutes. Once he and the mechanic working that day took a look they both agreed it’s as easy as counting Sheep. They fixed the car and I had it back in under a hour at a great price, I even tried to tip these swell gentlemen but they refused the offer. These dudes deserve whatever they ask for, great professionalism. I don’t remember their names but on 2/2/22 Between the hours of 11am and 12:30pm They will be getting referred to every time someone asks “what’s a good shop?”

I waited a little past my appointment time for my car to be taken in and it wasn’t clear to me how to let them know I was there, but it was smooth after that. The mechanic offered relevant services and asked before doing additional work. They provided a list at the end with the other things they saw. I was able to ask questions and get understanding. The price seemed fitting with the amount of work that was needed. I liked the way they took time to answer my questions.
