They were unable to adequately service my transmission, but were honest enough to admit it and refer me to a shop that could handle my transmission.

My mom had her transmission rebuilt here in 2007 for 2,200 and it never ran right. She took it in again and was told it was fine. In 2012 she took it in again because it had started to jerk periodically. He kept it for a week driving it, ran a full tank of gas out and told her it never jerked for him. This place must have changed. When I had similar problems, the guy asked me right off if it had enough fluid in it. He inspected it and said it wasn't the transmission, but a part connected with it, and I got out of there with the problem fixed for40 bucks. A co-worker brought his Subaru to the dealership and they offered to rebuild it and guarantee it for life for $3000. He took it here and got the problem fixed for $70. This was back in 2002, though; maybe it's changed.

I took my Pontiac grand prix here because it was not shifting or getting power when I accelerated. I was told that my transmission was completely shot and it would cost around four thousand dollars to get it fixed. I told them that I would think about it.
