Absolute costly waste of time. I brought in a Dewalt miter saw armature to have a bearing replaced on it and my barely used Bosch roto hammer that was intermittently hammering and sometimes not hammering. Stephen gave me a quote of $370 to repair the bosch and tried to instead sell me a different unit from his collection of tools for an additional $100. He claimed that the control board was bad, and that it needed a new piston. I looked up the symptoms online and bought the $49.00 bosch service kit (including the oil) online, replaced the O-rings inside of the piston striker assembly and on the piston myself. After those two o-rings were changed out, it's operating perfectly with no service light. Unfortunately when I came back to pick up the first two items, I left a second armature with him which he said would be done in two days. He ultimately dropped this armature after having it for three and a half weeks. Multiple times during this period I came to the shop and it was closed without warning, no one would answer the phone, they could not find the armature etc. Now I have a broken fan on an armature that's discontinued and unavailable. He acted like he did me some sort of favor in the whole instance, and was giving me all sorts of aggressive attitude even though I was being completely calm and reasonable. At first he was trying to tell me that he "rebalanced the armature with small bits of metal after breaking the fins off of the fan" and then when I picked it up and pointed out that the fan was cracked all the way through to the shaft of the armature and was just flopping around doing nothing he said "no it isn't" and grabbed it from me and then noticed that it was. He essentially has made my $500 miter saw a paperweight. He charged $15 estimate fee and then made up of bogus inflated estimate on my Bosch and has no intention or plan to fix the dewalt saw that's now worthless. Avoid at all cost. Total waste of time at this place. If you have things to do and your time is valuable, you do not want to interact with this business. Note: I was 100% not refunded the fee for the inflated and erroneous estimate. Nor would I be upset about you writing on the padded envelope I provided to protect the part: "do not come back" I would not have dreamt of coming back; hence the review to protect others from the unprofessional experience. When I called originally about the job you said "if you get here at like before 3:00 p.m. I can replace the bearings while you wait" This conversation is not about a rush that I had; it's about an offer and a promise that you extended over the phone before and after you received the armature to work on, and about you breaking the armature and not making it right. Also not even having the courtesy to change your voicemail or Google hours to alert your customers you would be closed for two weeks or even responding to texts directly sent to your personal cell phone number. That's just poor communication and non-professional behavior. One day I stopped by to attempt to retrieve my item your helper couldn't find it and I saw other patrons coming to receive their tools expecting them to be done and leaving frustrated too. The law states if you as a business break someone's property your responsibility is to compensate or make whole. You had written "do not come back" on the package before I even walked in the door because you were upset I let you know you had misdiagnosed the hammer drill. You never asked me to not come back in person, to my face, or on the phone, and it was certainly not a response to any bad behavior on my part. After driving to the shop five times you want me to leave it with you on the off chance you can find a part that's not available stored behind the counter of a Dewalt service center somewhere? I called the service centers you had stated you would call and they didn't have the part, so I should have left it with a guy that I can't get ahold of at a place that I'm told to "not come back" If you want to make it right, get me a replacement armature.

Great selection, service, reasonable prices. Super grateful they had some generators in stock after the storm this week. And the best part? Some cute shop dogs!

I had an excellent first experience with this shop. The owner is very knowledgeable and professional and provides excellent customer service. I bought a Honda generator from him and he kindly put oil in it and walked me through the initial setup. He has been in business for a long time and knows how to treat his customers well.

Steve is a gem! He is honest and has an insane amount of knowledge for fixing things and amazing problem solving skills. He is one of the very few people in the area that works on air compressors. He has helped us out immensely when equipment has last minute broke down. He accepts walk ins but we have found itβs best to give him a call first.
