I was expecting sincere service based on the reviews, but it was terrible. The staff was very rude and repeatedly told me, “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” with zero courtesy. I’m glad I didn’t proceed with the repair; it would have been a waste of time. Definitely not a trustworthy service.

I was referred by another mechanic who is now retired. Mike at Japan Auto Service is thorough, competent and reasonably priced. He's also a nice guy!

I've been to quite a few Japanese auto shops around the Seattle area and don't think I will ever go anywhere else in the after coming here. Mike is nothing short of amazing, and there's a reason he's got all 5 stars on here. I called in the morning and left a voicemail. Within an hour he called back and had me in the shop that day and would have had me out then if not for waiting for a part to come in the next day. His pricing is beyond fair and he's incredibly knowledgeable. Seriously could not recommend him enough.

Mike is a standout character, a true professional, and master of his craft. I came to see him when my car’s alternator broke down on a holiday when other shops were not open. He made time to come in early so that I could drop off the car. When the issue was confirmed, he performed the repairs in a timely fashion with high quality parts. 10/10 will visit him for all future car services.

Mike is amazing! I’ve had a ton of brakes/axle issues with my Honda and he’s been good at helping with everything. Doesn’t gouge. Very reasonable prices and helps with all kinds of issues.
