I have had excellent experiences here. Charlie in the shop is a wealth of knowledge and I have been able to buy parts from them on a few occasions as well as order parts. They really know their stuff. You could go to Hatton, but I find that the guys behind the counter there do not seem to know that much about my common engine model (perhaps they know more about others). Auxiliary seems to be real experts in their field.

The team at Auxiliary engine are fantastic. They are absolute experts in their field. They always communicate clearly and promptly. More than that, they actually care about the clients, and getting you repaired and back on the water. Auxiliary Engine has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions -always striving to do their best to help get me repaired and able to enjoy my boat. They have come through for me in a pinch multiple times. They have even sourced rare parts for me out of the Netherlands, and had them quickly shipped and installed in time for me to not have to cancel a trip I had planned. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We replaced our old generator with a new Northern Lights generator installed by Auxillary. Howard and his team were professional, did excellent quality work, and great communication. Below are some pictures of how Howard and his team were able to devise a way to get the old generator out and the new one in through very tight spaces. These guys KNOW what they're doing. I was especially impressed by the detailed and accurate estimate they provided. Even a job this big with lots of twists and turns, the estimate within just a few percent. Very rare when having work done on a boat.

Howard is a rock star . I am taking care of a friends boat for awhile and noticed it running rough. He came down and of course it was all fine when the mechanic visited. When it acted up again he was glad to interrupt his busy day to help. He diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes. It would have taken me days to figure out even Though I have been maintaining my own boat for 20 years

Howard is great; I would give him six stars if I could. He removed a rusted mixing elbow from my Catalina 36 and had a replacement fabricated in a day (at Hatton Marine). The following Monday he installed the new (stainless) unit. Fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. If you need any marine mechanical assistance, use these guys.
