ARC Motors, Ltd. / ARC Marine Co.

Just thrilled to find a local automotive repair that you know right away is interested in keeping you as a customer rather than maximizing a quick hit and not caring if they ever see you again. I’d searched for a month online for places near Ballard and repeatedly found either an equal number of negative reviews to positive reviews or long stretches of no reviews at all. Found ARC on a Sunday night, sent an email, got a call back Monday AM and scheduled for an assessment Tuesday. Austin and team identified everything my new (used) 2012 Nissan Titan needed to get current on maintenance as well as secure & repair a previous rinky-dink fix on the front bumper assembly. Now I’m confident…

I found Austin and ARC through a wonderful rave review on my Ballard neighborhood page on Facebook. And he was right! Austin got me in promptly and let me know exactly what needed to be done regarding my concerns. And he went above and beyond to fix a few minor things I was unaware of. Thank you so much! I've found my Forever Mechanic ♥️

I’ll only be visiting Austin and his team for my car needs going forward. Going to them feels more like visiting a friend’s garage. Their customer service is top-tier, and their care for customers is genuine. Great pricing, clear communication, and no nonsense like upselling or deception. They explain your car’s needs in a way that even a car novice can understand. There’s a reason they have 5 stars on Google and it’s well-earned. Thanks again, guys!

I recently had an amazing experience at ARC Motors Ltd., a local mechanic shop located behind Salmon Bay Cafe, and I just had to share it! I discovered this place through recommendations on Facebook and decided to support a small business instead of going to a large chain repair shop. I'm so glad I made that choice! The owner, Austin, is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. I was particularly impressed by how quickly I was able to get my car checked and by his honesty during the inspection. I felt a bit anxious, fearing there might be serious issues with my vehicle, so it was such a relief when he assured me there were no major problems. Plus, the inspection was free! After asking…

🐦‍⬛ The guys at ARC Motors took great care of my 66 Mustang! They gave the carburetor an ultrasonic sound bath and now she roars! both Austin and Jake took extra time to help me get to know my car and talk with me on the phone about things to keep an eye on and plan out my strategies for moving forward. 🚀
